India's Container Prices Soar 27% Amid Global Tensions
News: CJ Darcl Logistics is setting up an 80,000-square-foot cross-dock hub in Farrukhnagar, Haryana, in partnership with Flipkart and Ekart Express. The facility will support cross-docking, inventory management, order fulfilment, and WMS/TMS-integrated operations for the e-commerce partners.
CJ Darcl said the hub will strengthen shipment connectivity and operational efficiency across its network while backing Flipkart and Ekart’s end-to-end fulfilment needs.
The company brings automation and specialised packaging capabilities to the site. As of FY2025-26, CJ Darcl operated 22 warehouses totalling 2.78 million square feet. The addition reflects continued demand from e-commerce players for dedicated cross-dock capacity near the National Capital Region, a key consumption and distribution corridor. For 3PL operators and warehousing professionals, it signals ongoing investment in mid-sized, fulfilment-focused facilities alongside large-format mega-warehouses, as e-commerce logistics networks densify around high-volume metro clusters.
