Platform Targets Freight Spend and Detention Charge Reduction
News: Transport One, Delhivery’s logistics technology arm, has launched six AI agents built to automate transportation planning, procurement, coordination, auditing, customer support, and business analysis.
The agents, named Nayan, Vihaan, Kabir, Saanvi, Anaya, and Ved, each handle a distinct function: shipment coordination, load and capacity comparison, carrier negotiation, freight invoice auditing, customer query handling, and operational data analysis.
TransportOne says the system can reduce freight spend by 5 to 8% and cut detention charges by 20 to 40%, while providing full freight invoice audit coverage. The platform targets enterprises looking to automate logistics operations while retaining human oversight for critical decisions.
For supply-chain and logistics teams, the launch reflects a broader shift toward agentic AI tools handling specific, high-volume tasks in freight procurement and invoice management rather than general-purpose automation, an area where manual processes have historically driven cost leakage in Indian trucking and freight operations.
