Indian Warehousing and Logistics Market Surges
News: India’s warehousing and logistics sector rebounded strongly in Q3 CY2025, with national absorption rising 64% quarter-on-quarter to 9.2 million sq ft, though still 36% below last year’s levels.
Mumbai led the recovery, accounting for 47% of absorption at 4.29 million sq ft, driven by Bhiwandi and Panvel.
NCR absorbed 1.28 million sq ft, while Chennai posted its strongest quarter in two years at 1.13 million sq ft. Kolkata recorded a historic high of 1.26 million sq ft.
Hyderabad saw modest growth, while Pune and Bengaluru lagged. Renewed demand from e-commerce and 3PLs is driving recovery.
