CONCOR Dadri Sets Reefer Movement Record
News: CONCOR’s Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Dadri recorded its highest-ever monthly movement of refrigerated containers in September 2026, handling 2,931 reefer containers, 350 more than its previous record, and booking 5,931 TEUs, 597 more than the prior high.
The volumes reflect rising demand for temperature-controlled logistics in India, driven by agriculture, food processing, pharmaceuticals, seafood, and dairy exports.
Rail-connected multimodal facilities like Dadri link inland production centres with ports and export gateways, helping exporters keep perishable cargo within required temperature ranges, reduce spoilage, and meet international quality standards.
For exporters of perishables and pharma cold-chain cargo, the record signals growing rail-based reefer capacity inland, an alternative to relying solely on refrigerated trucking for the first and middle legs of cold-chain export journeys, potentially lowering transit costs and spoilage risk on the way to port.
