CII Calls for Supply Chain Stability
News: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has proposed a 12-point agenda to help businesses navigate disruptions from the West Asia crisis, focusing on supply chain resilience, price stability and job protection.
Director General Chandrajit Banerjee urged coordinated action between industry and government to build strategic reserves of critical materials and fuels.
CII also recommended that companies diversify sourcing, expand vendor networks and maintain inventory buffers to reduce risks.
It stressed passing on benefits from stable fuel and logistics costs to consumers to support inflation control, while reinforcing the need for responsible industry practices to sustain growth and employment amid global uncertainty.
