AP Cabinet Approves Logistics Industry Infrastructure Reforms
News: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet approved a broad set of reforms and investments to accelerate growth across logistics, industry and infrastructure.
A key decision was the creation of the AP Logistics Infrastructure Corporation (APLINC) as a holding company, along with an AP Logistics Fund structured as an AIF to attract institutional capital.
The Cabinet cleared a captive port SPV for AMNS at Anakapalli and approved major industrial projects, including space manufacturing in Tirupati, aircraft manufacturing and training in Chittoor, and electrical steel and wind mast production in Kadapa.
Incentives were granted for cement expansion and renewable energy projects. Other approvals covered MSME cluster development, mineral lease premiums, excise reforms, large loans and guarantees, education spending, tourism projects, power-sector relief, and a 950 MW pumped storage hydro project.
